Spatial-Spectral Super-Resolution (SSSR) is a technique used in the field of image processing and computer vision, specifically for enhancing the spatial and spectral resolutions of images. This technique aims to generate high-resolution hyperspectral images (HR-HSI) from low-resolution multispectral images (LR-MSI).

The following figure shows (i) spectral reconstruction, (ii) hyperspectral image super resolution, and (iii) spatial spectral super resolution.

Contrast between (i) Spectral reconstruction~(SR), (ii) Hyperspectral image super-resolution~(HSISR), and (iii) Spatial-spectral super-resolution~(SSSR).
